Publications

Below you can find an information about conference publishing options and procedure. Please note, that each paper to be published will have to be presented at the conference by one of the authors and will have to be accepted by Scientific Committee and Editors.

Book of Abstracts

The abstracts are an important part of the papers and they must allow the reviewers to make an intelligent decision about their acceptance. Typical composition of the abstracts includes: Motivation for the paper, Objectives, What was done, How it was done and validated, Major results and Conclusions. The abstracts must be formatted using the text format (no equations, no graphs and no plots) and must be written clearly and in good English. The length of the abstracts must be in the range between 1000-2000 characters (title, affiliation, keywords and references are not included in the characters’ length limit).

Up to 14 days after Author’s abstract submission, the authors will be notified about the decision of the Scientific Committee. After receiving abstract acceptance letter, the authors are invited to prepare full paper for review.

The abstracts accepted by the Scientific Committee will be included in a Book of Abstracts with an ISBN-number.

Proceedings dedicated to the conference

All papers presented during the conference and accepted by the Scientific Committee may be included in the volume of conference proceedings published in the international scientific journal IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES), which is typically abstracted e.g. in Conference Proceedings Citation Index (Thomson Reuters, Web of Science). A maximum of two articles per author is accepted.

IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES) is a journal dedicated to archiving conference proceedings in all areas related to Environment, Energy and Earth Sciences. The journal covers the technological and scientific aspects as well as social and economic matters. More details about the journal may be found here.

The papers must report original, previously unpublished findings in the fields of energy, fuels and environment protection. Papers must be written in good English and should clearly state purpose of the work and include: the introduction, methodology, results and main conclusions. The single paper lenght must be in the range of 6-10 pages.

Here you can find proceedings from the previous editions of the SEED conference: 1st edition (2016) and 2nd edition (2017).

Please remember that the active participation in the SEED Conference determines the possibility of full paper publication!

Journals from the JCR list and other journals

SEED Conference participants will have an opportunity to publish their papers in journals from JCR list and other journals. Please note that each of the journals has its policy, that should be read before making your decision on submission, but our partnership with the journals allows us to include your paper in a special issue of the journal and offer you some additional discounts. The summary of every journal partnering with us is presented below:

Energy&Fuels

Energy&Fuels publishes reports of research in the technical area defined by the intersection of the disciplines of chemistry and chemical engineering and the application domain of non-nuclear energy and fuels. This includes research directed at the formation of, exploration for, and production of fossil fuels and biomass; the properties and structure or molecular composition of both raw fuels and refined products; the chemistry involved in the processing and utilization of fuels; fuel cells and their applications; and the analytical and instrumental techniques used in investigations of the foregoing areas..
